Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Duty Doctor to join our hospital in Nanded. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, managing emergencies, and ensuring smooth operation of the medical facility during their shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients.
Diagnose illnesses and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
Monitor and record patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Emergency Management:
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide necessary medical intervention.
Coordinate with other medical staff in managing emergency cases and ensure timely patient care.
Coordination and Communication:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff.
Ensure seamless handovers between shifts by maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold the highest standards of medical ethics.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings and continuous medical education.
Contribute to the improvement of hospital protocols and patient care standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Valid medical license to practice in Maharastra.
Experience:
Minimum 0-15 years of experience as a Duty Doctor or in a similar role preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
Working Conditions:
Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
On-call duties as required.
